Change

2008 is the year of change!

There are many friends around me have changed their jobs, and some even became a "changed" person. Change from single to married; students to working adult, etc.. They changed for better, and it's never easy to make a decision to just change into a new environment when we are all get use to the usual stuffs; in the comfort zone.

In order for a change to take place, it is painful, is a tough decision to make.. and we need faith. No doubt we can't be 100% percent sure that is God's will for us. We need to change, change our habits, change our mind.

I just came back from Tacloban City, Philippines for a mission trip. Man, is AWESOME, God is really working in the lives of many young people. I really encourage all of us to go, to dwell in the presence of God as we worship Him with His people in that city. God is so good!

The theme of the Youth Camp - "Changing my world", yes, we need to change our world, if not, how can we impact others? I have spoke to few guys there, understand their lives. God is amazing, He has not only changed the person, He transform lives, gives hopes and brings them out of darkness. I am just so amazed by His wonderful works!

Only God can make all these changes possible!!

Praise God!

Sis Cat shared in the youth camp in Tacloban City -

"Watch your thought, they become Words, watch your words, they become Action, watch your action, they become Habits, watch your habits, they become Character, watch your character, they become DESTINY. "

I really love this!

I need to constantly pray for God to change me, to change my mind, change the way I behave, and not to be remain the same person year after year... that's sad..

I have and I must change!!

Oh Lord, help me to change to the person You have made me to be. I need Your help, Oh Lord.. create in me a new heart... make it new again....

my poor eyelashes ..

Two weeks ago, me and my friends went for a short trip to Macau / China. During the trip, i had done a "transformation" to my eyes. I did my eyebrow embroidery and eyelash extension. well.. it really look pretty and the price is quite affordable. (almost 30 - 40% of local market's price)

i thought my new long and curly eyelashes will last for 2 to 5 months (according to the beautician) but it's not! Lier! For my experience, it's really not very comfortable, though it might look good and pretty, but after about 1 week, i started to tear.. cuz it really irritated me.. sigh.. made me cry every morning especially during shower! really painful, okay?

and finally, enough is enough! i have decided to have every "lashes" removed.. one by one.. to my Horror.. it came off together with my REAL eyelashes.. sad right? i feel so heart aching lor ..

Lesson learnt : not to be so vain!

i will not touch this anymore.. it's a DISASTER! Bad bad bad experience. BAD!

ya, i think for the next 3 months, i have to put on the fake eyelashes when i go out.. however, there is still something to be thankful.. thank God that at least the beautician who did my eyebrow is good.. highly recommended! ^_^ this i have no regret!

for those ladies out there, who are curious to do eyelashes extension - please think it over.. it's not worth it.. too much a price to pay..

oh my poor eyelashes.. good bye....

in the place of obedience

There is NO place on earth is safe, only ONE place is safe. Ps Nicky Raiborde shared in Church last sunday.

"The safest place is to be where God want you to be, and to stay in the place of obedience.." =)

This simple messsage is not that simple after all. To obey, to trust, to have faith.. need a lot of strength. and he also said that "Faith" is spelled as "RISK", and how to be constantly stay in obedience?

Well.. the good news is.. to pray, to be constantly rely on God, who will give us the strength.

I kinda enjoy what Ps Nicky message - God will use the one that you - can't get along with, have attitude problem, some kinda "weirdo", to bless you! (that's so so true, isn't it?)

but .. but why? Why does God wanna do that?

i don't have the answer. His thoughts are always higher than mine.. and so is His ways.. i just have to OBEY.. and TRUST..

i need You Jesus

What's Your Name's Hidden Meaning?

What Amilin Means

You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection.

You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive.

You have the classic "Type A" personality.

You are confident, self assured, and capable. You are not easily intimidated.

You master any and all skills easily. You don't have to work hard for what you want.

You make your life out to be exactly how you want it. And you'll knock down anyone who gets in your way!

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing.

You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long.

You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow.

You are light hearted and accepting. You don't get worked up easily.

Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is.

You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people.

You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts.

You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals.

全新的"全新的你" - "The new you"

I would like to share this song to all of us. Is very important to know the Word of God, some lyrics maybe nicely written, but it might not be biblical. We have to be very careful, need to know the Word of God well, by reading and seeking Him; else, we will be misled. This song is really very meaningful. love it! eNjoY ya!! Be blessed.

Dream - Never Stop Dreaming!

"Cherish your visions and your dreams, as they are the children of your soul; the blueprints of your ultimate achievements." Napoleon Hill

"Man, alone, has the power to transform his thoughts into physical reality; man, alone, can dream and make his dreams come true." Napoleon Hill

"We grow great by dreams. All big men are dreamers. They see things in the soft haze of a spring day or in the red fire of a long winter's evening. Some of us let these great dreams die, but others nourish and protect them; nurse them through bad days till they bring them to the sunshine and light which comes always to those who sincerely hope that their dreams will come true." Woodrow Wilson

"However vague they are, dreams have a way of concealing themselves and leave us no peace until they are translated into reality, like seeds germinating underground, sure to sprout in their search for the sunlight." Lin Yutang

"The indispensable first step to getting the things you want out of life is this: decide what you want." Ben Stein

"The Challenge"

Let others lead small lives,
but not you.
Let others argue over small things,
but not you.
Let others cry over small hurts,
but not you.
Let others leave their future
in someone else's hands,
but not you.

Trust God in 2008

Blessed new year, people!!

I just returned from my church annual event - "Watch Night" service. Man.. This is really awesome!! Every year, members in church - from the young to the old, are given a chance to thank God, and to declare God's wonderful works in their lives, how life has transformed, how sickness has been healed, salvation took place, promotions, and blessings.. blessings .. and many blessings has poured in the church members lives. Glory to God!!

I strongly believed that there are many more great and powerful testimonies that has not shared, perhaps of time constraint, or could be shyness. Well, nevertheless, there is a season in everything.. maybe next time huh? =)

Ps Terence shared, "Some of our testimonies maybe still in the process, in the making.. some testimonies don't happened overnight, it could be years of praying.. seeking God.. but we must believe; believe that God will pull us through.. through it all.. we serve a God who will never fails."

I cried.

Those words just pierced through my heart, right there, i know.. God is speaking to me, He is still working in my life, He is telling me to trust Him..

.. and i am going to trust Him that He will bring me a higher height, a breakthrough in this brand new year of 2008, He is going to do greater things in me... that He has planned ahead for me to fulfill. To have faith in Him!

"You are forever in my life
You see me through the seasons
Cover me with Your hand
And lead me in Your righteous
And I look to You
And I wait on You

I’ll sing to You Lord
A hymn of love
For Your faithfulness to me
I’m carried in everlasting arms
You’ll never let me go
Through it all..."
