"When is your turn?"

For the past few days, i dunno why. People i met, called or sms, they all come out with this question.. "when is your turn ah..?" of course, i know what they meant.. to get a boyfriend lor..

Oh boy, as if they are so worried that i will be - "left on the shelf" lor.

they will say.. "don't be so choosy la, your expectation very high lei.. you are not young already you know?.. you not scared meh? .. your church got no man meh?.. later berri hard to have baby lei.. blah blah blah.."

Are they really so concern? Is it their problem? Why can't they leave me alone!!

Anyway, I don't bother la, just wondering - why out of sudden, everyone seems to be interested in this topic. Why can't they talk something else? i mean if there's nothing to say .. don't say.. sigh.. :(

Why can't these people ask abit more intelligent, constructive, sensible question.. haizz..



well .. as for the little secret, looloo.. it still hidding in my heart, in a little corner.. dunno how long will i keep it, maybe forever.. no matter what, whenever i thought of "it".. it has never fails to bring a smile to my face.. =) *pray*pray* Good things come to those who wait .... heehee

Jesus has already won the Battle!

Pastor Victor spoke about "Spiritual Warfare".. i kinda thought .. am facing this issue.. so, after church, i went back and google search and i found this.

Spiritual Warfare : What is it?

Spiritual warfare exists in the unseen, supernatural dimension, where God is all-powerful and Satan is in revolt. As any Christian soon discovers, although spiritual warfare is unseen, it’s absolutely real.

The Bible speaks of spiritual warfare in many places, but most directly in Ephesians 6:12,


“For we do not wrestle against fresh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

Spiritual Warfare : Be Strong in the Lord

Spiritual warfare is a reality of the Christian life. But remember, we know the ending – our side wins. Since the Devil has already lost, he has nothing to lose in trying to take as many people with him in defeat.

Therefore:

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
~ Ephesians 6:10-11

I don’t exactly understand how spiritual warfare works, or how it's function, but I do know, for sure, it can really drives me CRAZY! Whatever things happening at home, is beyond words can express. I MUST NOT give the devil a foothold.

I should LOVE the person and HATE the sin. Not to be angry with that person! Is not the person doing the sin, but is the devil ones using the person to do the sin. Don't fall into his stupid trap, okay? Don't allow the cunning, irritating, Big FAT Liar, to come and kill, steal and destroy all our joy and our trust in our loving God.

.. But.. It’s so hard not to be angry and to be kind with everyone.. How can I show Christ’s love? How to even love when am losing my cool? how?

Why is it so much easier to reach out to people outside, and it seems so hard to even care and love my own love ones at home. Have I put in enough effort to do so?

Oh Lord, grant me the wisdom. Teach me what to say and when to say it...

Thank You, Lord Jesus… For I know, You have already won that battle! Yes, if God is for us, who can be against us?

I know I can do it, YES.. I can.. ^_^

Romans 5:1-5

Today Bible verse - 23 Sept 2007

“Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.” (Romans 5:3-4)

BTW, i don't usually bother what's the Bible-Verse-for-today.. but i really don't know what caught me into it ...anyway.. guess what, I actually read this verse earlier in my Bible too. The Book of Romans, chapter 5, verse 1-5

Verse 2 : through whom we have gained access by FAITH into this GRACE in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the HOPE of the GLORY of God.
Verse 5 : And HOPE does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His LOVE into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, who He has given us.

While am reading this, this is like .. "hey.. why is the verse appear again?" Oh gosh! i know that i should not be feeling hopeless and worry. . I should rejoice always. I should persevere.

In church today, we sang this song ..

Yes.. i want to surrender my all to You, Lord...

stars

I just couldn't sleep last nite, so i looked at the stars..
wondering.. why are there some stars that are so bright and shinning, whereas, most of them simply wasn't so obvious.. and it seems fading?

I prayed .. Oh Father, how can I be the bright shinning star that will continue to shine for You, even during the darkest hour..

You are the One who set all the stars in their place. For that very moment, I found myself singing.. "You are.. Magnificent, Eternity, Wonderful, Glorious.. Jesus ... No one ever will compare to You... Jesus"

Need You, Lord .. for You are my hope and my salvation.. =)

There is a MIRACLE, when you believe, and truly God can turn all situations around, am actually awake now, @ 5am. Usually, I will be sleeping like a log at this hour. However, am not, guess am just too shocked with the miracle work God has done in George's life. Thanks George. Praise God for you! May God continues to use you for His glory.. =)

God speaks to me very clearly in this song, and touches my heart. (i cried) .. and yes, knowing that why would God bother to love me so much, why does He even wanna care about me. Simply the reason is because He loves me.

Wake up early - with no plans ahead, went online, signed in MSN, and saw agnes, so i changed my status to "online" so that she will not get irritated by me being "invisible" ..
she asked, "what's the plan for today?"

Without even thinking, i just replied - "maybe to get my hair trim, as it's getting messy and of cuz irritating!! "

With that, i have "something" to do for today.. yeah!

Yaa, before i forget - i would like to wish Vivian and Jason a blessed birthday!
we had fun on thursday celebrating with them ... they are like the newlywed couple.. we have the "yumseng" on a chinese restaurant, with the chinese birthday song and all..

and is so FuN!! we have filled the room with the CNL - joys and laughters.. oh man!

Jason was pretty cool about it! He and his "smile" that says "fine.. do what that makes you happy huh?" He is kinda-too-mature for his age.. hey, this man has received lots of good-feedback from all the girls okay? don't play play eh..

Jason is so blessed for all the pretty babes to treat him like king .. he must be very honored..
too bad .. no pics.. might need to check out Agnes' blog ya? This is really the most enjoyable, unique birthday party we ever celebrated!


Guess i've spend my sat ~ pretty well...

1) went for a hair cut.. uhmm..
2) shopping alone, brought 2 new tops.. (YaY!!)
3) listening to the Book of Acts (MP3),
~ but after 8 chapters, and i decided to listen to SOP songs instead .. hee
4) successfully nap for 3 hours..
5) finished the whole Book of Hebrews (MP3)
6) upload new programs / add new friends to FaceBook

uhmmm... what else .. ?
