Bible Version - NIV

I have been spending time on Bible MP3 for the past few days, and yes, is really good, following the audio and reading the Bible at the same time.

Currently, am reading both version concurrently, i.e the NIV (New International Version), and NKJV (New King James Version).

I actually prefer NIV compared to NKJV.. (dunno why) but not now.. not anymore! as I found out they missed out important Word of God.. :(

how could they do that?

I just would like to point out what I have found out...
(so far only two la .. haha.. is enough to break the trust!)


1) NIV - missing of the whole verse Matthew 17:21

which in NKJV;
~ "However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting."

2) NIV - Mark 9:29
~ "He replied, "This kind can come out only by prayer."

which in NKJV;
~ "So He said to them, "This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting."


After I learnt about the "mistake" .. perhaps is typo error, or what you name it, am losing confidence in NIV. Am wondering if there's some more?

I remember one of the Pastors mentioned that NIV is the worst version, and now I know why... He recommended NASB (New American Standard Bible). I think I'm getting one of that.. Soon. Very soon.

I can't comprehend

HOW can someone who trust in the Lord, to say "thank your buddha" , or trust in buddha?

Doesn't she knows that buddha is just a man? and not God?

I can't comprehend. She says "God bless you" to Christians, but other things to those of a different belief? .. and said that "she is not lucky.. or wat??

There is NO such things as "LUCK!" there is ONLY BLESSINGS !!

Lord, this is NOT right! I really can't take it.

I have learnt that if you dunno what to say, dun say! certain things is simply NO two-ways about it .. NO compromise. God is the only God.. there is NONE like HIM.

What she means by "thank your buddha" ?? OH manz... Crazy lor ..

Forgive her, Father.. she doesn't know what she is doing....

How to be a true Christian?

How to be a true Christian ?
How to be a true believer that follow Jesus' commands...?

To follow Him, take up His cross daily, to forgive those who hurt us, to love our friends and our enemies, to pray and spend time with our Father in heaven.

Is that all it takes to be a good and faithful servant?

When there is so much of uncertainty in life.. so many obstacles, cloudy sky, stormy sea, rejections, hurts.. angers .. frustrations.. dark lonely hours..

How to count our blessings, to remember God's faithfulness..? We must always learn - "To walk by FAITH and not by sight "

I know we are not saved by our work, we don't have to gain credits, our heavenly Father still loves us as who we are.. forgive our sins..


But .. How to forgive? How to know that I have already forgiven him? Have I buried the hurt, concealed my emotional feelings.. I thought I have surrender it to God, but why the feelings seems "coming-back" again? How to let it go, and let God handle it?

Lord, teach me how to forgive..

Just pondering some thoughts

Am just wondering, what are the topics that will interest people to read..
gossips? secrets? anger? frustration? complaints? controversial issues? perspective? political matters? or about opposite sex - what they think, their likes and dislikes, etc..

I reckon that sometimes the "truth" may be boring huh? Is just like eating healthy food, it can be so tastless lor.. and usually sinful food are the most delicious..

When my mommy tell me "not to do it" , i will purposely do it, but when she said "do your homework", most of the time, i won't follow - what is being told.

We just like to do things "my way" right? uhmm .. jus reminded about Adam and Eve, or the forbidden fruit... haha .. That is when the first sin that separate us from God....

When we are talking about the gospel about our Lord Jesus, it seems that there are many people who are kind of evading the topic, either they seems not interested, dun wanna know or dun bother to know, or dun care at all.

Why people blog? Do they just wanna their voice to be heard? to be in the "trend", or to journal their lives? There are various reasons, where only the blogger knows the best ya?

As I came across some bloggers really shared their deepest secrets, exposing their privacy to the world. Why? to show off? what do they wanna share about their private life, how many "partners" they have... and so on.. dun understand..

What has the world become? girls giving birth at the age of 9 years old? so young? kids are now so exposed to all these pornography, how can the parents help? how to control? how to educate? Parents should not be pushing these teachings to school or Church. Is should be from home, the parents should spend enough time to their children, showering with care and concern...

how to let them learn in such a way they can understand and not be curious to try it themselves?

uhmm... so many questions.. but too tired to think liao..


I will still choose to blog what I wanna remember. . . ha ha .. be it good or bad, there is always things to thank and praise God for.. to share about God faithfulness and love for me.. heehee
